PHYSICAL CONDITIONING DIRECTOR / OWNER: Michael K Snow

Michael K Snow is a CSCS Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist based in Tampa with over 18 years experience training and coaching people on a one-on-one basis.  He specializes in a time efficient fitness & weight loss solutions for busy people who don’t have the time or inclination to live in a gym or kitchen. The approach used towards exercise and diet is geared toward helping SGC clients attain maximum results in minimum time.

The phrase “Push Yourself” isn’t just a motivational tool, but it keeps you focused on finishing what you started and not allowing anything to get in your way. With a somewhat unorthodox approach to exercise and diet, it truly does deliver dramatic results without requiring a huge time commitment.

Michael is passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their fitness goals.  Michael grew up playing sports and enjoys the power of teamwork and sportsmanship. He relishes the opportunity to help people of all fitness levels live a healthy lifestyle with both fitness and nutrition.  He has continuing education in kid’s fitness, Team BeachBody/ P90X, strength and conditioning training.  He will inspire and encourage you to achieve your personal best in life.

To get from where you are to where you want to be, you have to push past your current threshold! Thus he coined the phrase “Push Yourself.” Sure, this is challenging, won’t be easy…but you better believe it’s possible! If you never cross your current threshold or go beyond what you’ve done before you will stay right where you are. This holds true in life and it’s the same in getting fit!

 

Things you want to look for in your search for good Fitness trainers and instructors:

  • Demonstrate how to carry out various exercises and routines
  • Watch clients do exercises and show or tell them correct techniques to minimize injury and improve fitness
  • Give alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and skill
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adapt programs as needed
  • Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment
  • Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues.
    Such as information about Shakeology and the benefits you will get out of this all natural formula
  • Give emergency first aid if needed

Michael specializes in both group and individual fitness instruction.. He will often a plan or choreograph a group class. As A Personal fitness trainer, Michael will work with a single client or a small group. He will train in a gym or in the clients’ homes. As your Personal fitness trainer he will design and carry out workout routines specific to the needs of his clients.  If your into playing sports and want to get more out of your body during the times when you feel like giving up, Michael will show you just how to achieve your goals.. He will develop personalized training programs for all of his clients to follow, and they monitor the progress.

As A Group fitness instructor, Michael will organize and lead group exercise sessions, which can include aerobic exercise, stretching, muscle conditioning, or meditation. In these classes, Michael uses music, light weight and body weight to choreograph an exercise sequence.

Whether in a group or a private session Michael will assess his clients’ level of physical fitness and help them set and reach their fitness goals.
